CandorVox is a platform where job seekers may share and discover hiring-process experiences, and where companies may respond to candidate experiences or access company tools.

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
A. Information you provide
We may collect:
- Name or display name.
- Email address.
- Account credentials. CandorVox uses passwordless email sign-in links and GitHub sign-in, so we do not collect or store passwords.
- Profile information.
- Company affiliation, if you use a company account.
- Reviews, ratings, comments, interview timelines, and other content you submit.
- Company responses and company profile information.
- Reports, appeals, verification submissions, support messages, or moderation communications.
- Payment and billing information, if you purchase paid features.
- Preferences, saved companies, watchlists, and notification settings.
- Any other information you choose to provide.
B. Hiring-experience information
When you submit a hiring experience, we may collect information such as:
- Company name.
- Role or job title applied for.
- Location, including country, optional state or region, and city, or remote/hybrid status.
- Approximate date or date range of the hiring process.
- Application stage reached.
- Number of interview rounds.
- Communication experience.
- Salary transparency experience.
- Take-home assignment experience.
- Interview professionalism rating.
- Whether you received follow-up, rejection, offer, or no response, and whether you would apply again.
- A written narrative about your experience.
You should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, trade secrets, private information about other individuals, or the names of individual recruiters, hiring managers, or interviewers unless expressly permitted by CandorVox policy. We review the hiring process, not the people in it.
C. Verification information
CandorVox may allow users to privately provide information to help verify a hiring interaction. This may include an application confirmation, interview invitation, recruiter email, calendar invite, offer-related communication, rejection email, or similar record.
We use verification information to assess authenticity, prevent fake reviews, investigate abuse, and protect platform integrity. Verification documents are stored privately and are not publicly displayed unless you explicitly choose to include them in public content.
D. Automatically collected information
When you use CandorVox, we may automatically collect:
- IP address.
- Device type.
- Browser type.
- Operating system.
- App version.
- Referring pages.
- Pages viewed.
- Search activity.
- Clicks, interactions, and usage patterns.
- Approximate location based on IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies.

Public Content
CandorVox is a public or semi-public platform. Reviews, ratings, comments, company responses, profile information, badges, and other submitted content may be visible to other users, search engines, companies, and the public.
If you post anonymously or pseudonymously, we may still collect account, device, verification, or usage information internally. Anonymous posting does not mean CandorVox has no information about your account or activity.
Do not include information in public content that you do not want others to see.
Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information from user content and activity. For example, we may publish or provide insights such as:
- Average communication scores.
- Common candidate concerns.
- Ghosting trends.
- Interview-round averages.
- Salary transparency patterns.

Analytics and Advertising

Sponsored content or paid placements should not determine whether lawful negative reviews are removed.

CandorVox does not intend to collect sensitive personal information in public reviews and asks users not to submit it.

International Users

Company users must not use CandorVox to identify, retaliate against, harass, or pressure reviewers.
Review Authenticity and Platform Integrity
To protect trust and safety, CandorVox may process information to detect fake reviews, coordinated campaigns, conflicts of interest, duplicate accounts, suspicious posting patterns, incentivized reviews, automated submissions, or abuse.
This may involve reviewing account activity, device information, IP addresses, verification materials, content patterns, reports, and moderation history.

- Product updates.
- Marketing communications, where permitted.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. You may still receive service-related messages.
